We are the Church of England in your community on the edge of the picturesque Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The Forest Edge benefice covers the parishes of Longhope, Huntley with May Hill, Churcham and Bulley. We have five churches and four parishes, but we strive to be one church family. Our congregations are welcoming and caring and seek to respond to Gods love by walking alongside one another through all of life's events and aiming to be Christ's presence in the communities that we serve.
I hope you find our website useful, whether you are new to one of the villages, interested in exploring and growing your faith, or have an important life event such as a child to be baptised, a wedding to be planned or a funeral for a loved one.
The Reverend Lara Bloom
Priest in Charge
As Anglicans, our benefice lies within the Severn Vale Deanery in the Diocese of Gloucester, which is part of the wider Church of England. Our national church forms one of the many provinces in the global Anglican Communion, which stretches over 165 countries worldwide.
To find other Church of England parishes, visit A Church Near You, which lists every church in the Church of England and provides maps, contact details and additional information.
We are fortunate to have three schools located within our Benefice.
